Team KR MotoGP

Working closely with Chuck Aksland and engineers from Kenny Roberts MotoGP team, Mercury Customs developed the styling for the sponsor and team graphics package for the 2007 season. The new look debuted at the Spanish GP with a splash causing everyone to ask “Who is F1-MAX-X?” A question that put the other sponsors in the paddock on notice that the game for race sponsors had changed.

Iron and Lace Calendar

Mercury Customs was selected for the Iron & Lace calendar for 2007. We were featured in the month of April with Danish supermodel Mascha Lund. Custom motorcycles, Danish supermodels and lingerie - we didn’t think it could get any better - but it did. We were also selected to represent the 2008 Los Angelese Calendar show, featured with California supermodel Tiffany Toth. Sweet.

Chopper Build Magazine

We are often asked to appear in magazines with feature articles and the occasional cover story. Chopper Build magazine’s inaugural issue featured our very own Hard Eight with an article covering the details and engineering. Joe took Hard Eight out to the historic El Mirage dry lake bed for the photo shoot.

Robb Report

Only three months after Mercury Customs introduced Ronin, the fine people at Robb Report Motorcycling featured it in the magazine. Outstanding photography by Randall Cordero Studios complemented the article and helped put Mercury Customs on the map.

Project Pink

We recently had the opportunity to personalize a motocycle for a favorite female client. All girl, she wears a bright pink leather jacket with a matching pink helmet from Shoei. She asked us to create a unique paint design that complemented her pinkness. We came up with a matching pink butterfly motif that looks strikingly similar to the Shoei design. Girls ruie.

The Geek Squad

Working together with management from Best Buy, our designers developed a special project based on the Geek Squad, a customer service / installation division of the national retail chain. The design includes advanced electronics, ultra computing devices and wireless communication technology. Together with custom saddlebag mounted tools and equipment, the Geek Squad bike delivers the goods. Where’s my pocket protector?

Full Custom Design

We work closely with each client to design a custom motorcycle that best reflect their taste, style and riding requirements. Incorporating an extensive client feedback process, we develop a set of illustrations that show the styling, appearance and features. Each motorcycle design starts from a clean sheet of paper and upon completion represents the client’s dream of the ultimate custom motorcycle.

Maximum Drive Performance

Here's the latest product to come out of the design studio at Mercury Customs - the new Maximum Primary Cover System, "Max" for short, is the design result of several new, yet to be revealed projects. Strong design lines, a tough mechanical look and attention to detail are key features of this new cover set. The mounting hardware was designed to accomodate several drive systems such as BDL and Primo.

Exotic Paint Design

Exotic customers demand exotic creativity. Working with the client, our designers developed a custom tribal pattern that complemented the bike’s lines. The pattern was fully integrated into the paint scheme and included in the upholstery with a embroidered stitch in a contrasting color to match the paint. The client has reportedly spoken with their tattoo artist about the matching body art. Stay tuned for photos.

Fast By Any Definition

Two wheels doesn’t mean exclusively VTwin. Clients ask us to match exotic paint schemes and special race trim on their sport bikes as well. This project was inspired by Valentino Rossi’s MotoGP from the 2005 US Grand Prix. Fastest man on two wheels.
